I received feedback from the Board of Governors of their observation of me in the classroom last week. My 2nd week in post as an FS1 Teacher with the British Curriculum and to say I'm pleased with the feedback is an understatement.
For myself I need to work on my time management, after 5 years of not working it has come as a bit of a shock to the system, the sheer volume of information I have absorbed in the past two weeks has left little space in my head for anything else. My brain is whirring none stop with things I need to do and things I want to do and my blogging, reading of posts and commenting has fallen by the wayside.
It is through social media I've kept going over the past few years and I really don't want to let it slide, so I've set time aside this evening to have an early night and catch up with some TV and chill out, with pasta and a glass of wine.
I'm hoping Manchester United win as I could do without the stress of Peter's (my husband) team losing and spoiling our evening.
I saw you bought a car yesterday while going for a coffee, is there much difference in what the roads are like compared to the UK?

Ha ha, Man Utd losing always ruins our evenings too! It's great to hear that you got a good report from the governors.
ReplyDeleteAfter 20 years of being a 'professional temp' I can tell you that the first 2 weeks at any job is the hardest and always full of information overload. Hang in there - it will settle down into a routine.
