9th - 11th August 2024 Post Comment Love

Welcome back to #PoCoLo with Stephanie from Bosworth.Life and I.

Post Comment Love #PoCoLo is a friendly weekly linky where you can link up any blog post you've written this week. If you're new or a regular visitor we're sure you'll find something of interest.

I'm currently in Turkey on holiday, sadly I'm unable to upload any photos to my blog, post on instagram or watch the Olympics, due to access issues, despite having wifi. When we lived in Dubai we had similar issues with government restrictions and whilst it is frustrating we have to accept the rules of the countries we live in and visit.

I'm also very saddened by the news I'm hearing back from back home about the rioting and protesting and I am at a loss trying to explain the actions of other British people to friends out here to reassure them that they would be welcome to visit the UK as it doesn't feel that way to them right now.

We'd also appreciate your help spreading the #PoCoLo word on Twitter, tag us and we'll RT. You can find us on twitter here: Stephanie - @BosworthLife and Suzanne - @ChickenRuby

I'll be catching up with reading your posts, sharing and commenting over the next few days.

  1. Happy Friday, Suzanne! Your day in Glastonbury sounds delightful and your holiday in Turkey does, too! Hoping you'll share more when you return from holiday! We, too, are thinking of the UK and praying that things resolve sooner than later! Wishing you safe travels!

  2. Suzanne, thank you for the reminder on Twitter. My Peach Pie with Lattice Crust is link #12. I'm not a "summer girl" except when it comes to summer fruits! Sounds like you're having a great summer!

    1. Got to love summer fruits. I'm very much enjoying the variety of fruits available to me in Turkey and the peaches here are delicious.
