20 Sunday I did sod all, all day apart from watch movies and sleep in the chair in the lounge. I had the cat and dog for company until Peter came home.
21 Monday Gave Bob a proper bath, washed all his bedding, swept sand off the balconies and the patio and tidied the garden. Took Peter to the train for his flight to Saudi, did the food shop and had a meeting ahead of the golf this weekend.
22 Tuesday Off to the dog park, always nice to catch up with a few people over a coffee while the dogs run around. IKEA delivery and assembly in the afternoon and I swept through the house after setting up the upstairs TV on the new unit. Peter arrived back from Saudi late.
23 Wednesday Airport run to collect 2 and 2a, after they unpacked and rested I took them to the Marina for a walk round and we had dinner out at the pub quiz.
24 Thursday Dropped 2 and 2a at Dubai Mall for their trip up the Burj Khalifa, I stayed for a coffee then I went off to marshal the golf at the Omega desert Classic for the day, before meeting up with them and Peter for dinner and to watch the light show.
25 Friday We caught the ferry from the Marina to Dubai Creek to explore the museums, souks and a trip on the abra, we got a taxi back to the home and had a bbq in the evening.
26 Saturday Peter took 2 and 2a off to Abu Dhabi and I worked at the golf for the day. Finished the afternoon with a beer sitting on the 15th green.
Some fabulous photos of Dubai this week. It looks like 2 and 2a are having a good time. It must be nice to have them there. Hope you are enjoying the golf.

the cat is always comfy and usually at my expense, I'm really loveling this weather, as soon it will be too hot to go outside

DeleteHow lovely to have the family over to visit, look like they are seeing a lot of the tourist areas. Lucky you having the golf to do again. Have to wonder why the 15th green?I would be melting and sat in tshirt and shorts in 22 oC. think we have hovered round about 0 most of this week. nice in if there is no wind but unpleasant if there is. Think you deserve a lazy day.

DeleteThe cat looks very happy and cosy, napping with you in bed. The IKEA TV unit is sturdy and practical. How lovely to have your family visiting this week. Our bodies acclimatise to the countries we live in. I used to think that minus 20 was fine, as a child, I'd go to school. Here, at minus 1 I already feel cold. The same for you, plus 22 would be pretty hot here, but you are feeling the cold.
