Well that was a quick change of plans for us this week in Middle England, how's it been with you?
Stephanie from Lifeat139a and I would love to know what you've been up to this week with #PoCoLo
Although we've been visiting people, family and friends, we haven't been going inside other than to use the toilets, order a take out coffee or only in places where we've been able to socially distance and only taking our masks off indoors when seated.
We were early to fetch our daughter on Friday last week from her care home and we spent 20 mins inside Starbucks in Gloucester. We'd noted that everyone in the queue was wearing a mask and felt comfortable doing so we stayed in for our coffee as it was raining. We were pinged on Wednesday morning and advised to isolate until midnight this coming Monday. Peter made a swift return from his friends house where he'd ventured to for the previous night.
Counting back to day 0 meant we'd sat within 2 meters of someone who had tested positive for covid. No one had been coughing, singing or shouting and our ping informed us that whilst it wasn't a legal requirement to isolate we thought we probably follow the request. Neither of us have shown any symptoms and we haven't received a call from track and trace.
DIL's day out cancelled and garden drinks with friends on Friday postponed, so we should get the last few boxes unpacked over the weekend and hopefully try to reclaim our dining room.
