Week 11 Project 365 Flowers, Family and Friends

This week has been about flowers, family and friends. The week started with a surprise phone call from my Mother in Law asking if she can come over for a visit, she arrived on Thursday. Hubby also flew to Joburg on Sunday for a week for work, there were several coffee dates with friends, shopping for a accessories for my floral dress, some gardening and the week finished with a trip to Miracle Gardens

I can't thank this group of ladies enough for making me feel so welcome in ‪#‎dubai‬ ‪#‎coffeemornings‬ ‪#‎shopping‬ ‪#‎tips‬ we may all not be so young now but we've certainly got a lot to smile about.

I love to make things, but I lack motivation, having all the time in the world. My niece is getting married in the UK in April, I'm hoping I can make the trip. In preparation I've been collecting shells off the beach, one of my favourite pastimes and learning to write Arabic so I can make some table decorations for the wedding which I can either take back with me in April or send back with MIL next week.

I'm off to a wedding in the UK in April, the bride is wearing cream, the colour theme is mint and pink. I Want some help deciding what floral dress to wear.

Three reason why the beach is my happy place.
1. I spend a lot of time on my own, while hubby is at work or away, so I make sure I go out everyday.
2. I love swimming and there are no large pools on the bus routes.
3. The beach is a 15 minute walk from my front door, how could I not love it there.

Communication from hubbies family is rare, so a surprise phone call from MIL over the weekend asking if she could come and visit for a week was fantastic news.
However that was that and these are all the details I have. Really can't believe I'm off to the airport this evening to collect her. Just hope I wrote it down right.

Day 72 #onedailypositive #colour #fmsphotoaday #yellow #snaphappybritmums #project365

Every time we move I have this little fantasy about creating a beautiful garden, I start by planting seeds, then I end up forgetting about them. To be fair, we've rented for the past 5 years and employed a gardener, however with this move I'm determined to stick at this because all we have in our garden right now are paved areas and giant sand pits where I think grass should be growing. These seeds were sewn only 3 days ago in a mixture of sand and soil so I'm more than hopeful they'll transplant and grow successfully.

Day 73 #onedailypositive #love #fmsphotoaday #favourite #snaphappybritmums #project365
One of my favourite things to do is to explore new places and having recently moved to Dubai there are lots of places to explore. I love the fact that hubby wants to explore with me and how he doesn't get frustrated when I go in place after place in search of ribbon for my nieces wedding in April.
