Starnberg Lakes are located 25 kms, southwest of Munich and a popular area for recreation for the city. The small town is famous as the place where King Ludwig II of Bavaria was found dead in the lake in 1886.
I drove to Starnberg, but it can be reached by the S Bahn and bus. It was a lovely place to spend a couple of hours was long as it's not raining. There were lovely walks alongside the lakes as well as pavement cafes and restaurants and a boat trip if I'd had more time.
All of Bavaria is so pretty with the window boxes, decorated buildings, fountains and statues. All villages, towns and cities have a maypole, market and of course an abundance of souvenir shops. I'll leave the photos to talk for themselves.
Wow, cool post. I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real hard work to make a great article… but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though. best app currency converter
