Dubai is man made, apart from the sand and camels. Not a lot can live here without water desalination plants and air conditioning.
The temperatures are cooling enough now for people to start getting outdoors during day light out hours.
This photo was taken on Friday at Zabeel park, about a 20 minute drive from where we live. I will be exploring it further with How Does Your Garden Grow, next week.
I can't imagine the temperatures you have by day, or not being able to go out. It must be such a relief now.
ReplyDeleteIt's still rather humid, as we live by the sea and not pleasant to be out in for too long
DeleteAre they playing football? It must be a relief to finally be able to go outside in daylight.
ReplyDeleteplaying football, having birthday parties, bbq's, jogging, ten pin bowling, you name it, it was all going on
DeleteI can't even deal with the temps here and it is not anything as close to what you have over there. And it is amazing that anything actually grows
ReplyDeleteI'm astounded by how much does actually grow here
DeleteIt must be nice to be able to get outside. It's still warmer than the UK when we're in the height of Summer
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up

DeleteI don't mind the heat but I just cannot bear humidity. Although if you are by the sea you can swim, is the sea safe? #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeletewe have life guards on the beach, but it is dark by 6pm and there are rip tides, so you have to be very careful
DeleteIt was October when I visited Dubai all those years ago. I can remember walking through a park down towards the creek, but bet that's all changed too since then #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeletei doubt you'd recognise the place these days
DeleteI don't know much about the area, but I totally understand too much heat. Sounds even worse then Florida in August.
ReplyDeletethe humidity is what gets me down
