What I reading in February.

I started the first half of January reading 3 books, then ploughed on through a further 5, then came to a standstill for a week.

I feel I need to alternate my reading a bit more, I keep choosing books of similar genres, settings and time periods. My book shelf contains 'chick lit' and crime books, I've got an extensive library in school I have access to and I will be joining the local library with the intention to visit once a week and sit and read for an hour or two with a coffee, I find home too much of a distraction.

For now though I have these 3 books lined up to read.

Three Men in a Boat.

Good Eggs

Don Quixote

Do you have a reading list? or do you just pick and choose?

  1. I will have to check these books out. I keep stocking up at charity shops but need to find the time to actually read them now! Spending time reading in the library sounds like a fabulous idea, always too many distractions at home! Sim x

  2. I really didn't get on with Don Quixote, I found it quite ridiculous and tedious. I did however, love the ballet I saw last year, it was amazing. (Of course it condensed the story quite a lot.)

  3. I've seen many different versions of the book in cartoon and on film, think it's time I tried to read the book

  4. That's an interesting collection! I'm an avid reader and can't go to bed without reading! I've just finished 'How to Kill Your Family' by Belle Mackie which is dark but very funny, too. I'm now on Robert Galbraith: The Ink Black Heart. This is the sixth in the Strike series. Turning out to be page-turning, as well. Happy Reading! #pocolo
