My attitude to gardening is 'throw it in and see'
We'll it's now time to transplant into bigger pots and try to work out what everything is.
I bought 2 of these with no idea what I was buying, now it's flowered I can see it's an eggplant.
A couple of 'guess the plant' to fill up two hangers.
My strawberry seeds came to nothing and I'm still waiting for the garden centre to get some plants in so I can fill these hangers.
My mother is visiting for the next 3 weeks and is 'green fingered' although she says she's not prepared to do any weeding as it's still too hot for her, coming from the UK.
We have trips to the Botanical gardens, Miracle garden and Za'beel Park for the How does your Garden Glow night display.
You got your green fingers from her and isn't interesting you are breathing easy cos the weather is cooler and mommy finds it too hot
ReplyDeletei ahd so many plans for things to do with my mum outdoors it's such a shame she found it too hot
DeleteYou and I have the same attitude to gardening :) I'm a big fan of giving things a go; if a plant isn't happy you can always move it somewhere else.
ReplyDeletetoo right, I'm constantly moving things around as they grow
Delete'Throw it in and see' is a great ethos - if you don't try you won't know!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have your mother visiting, sounds like she'll really enjoy looking round the gardens there, they must be very different to UK ones!
Thanks for joining in again pickle :)
sadly we haven't ben able to spend as much time outdoors as i would have liked due to my mother finding it too hot here
DeleteSo nice to see some seedlings, I'm itching to be growing again. Looking forward to seeing how the aubergines grow!
ReplyDeletethe aubergines are growing nicely, everything is planted out but i've still no idea what a lot of it is
