I've spent 3 nights quite literally under the stars in Algonquin Provincial Park in Northern Ontario, Canada. There are no facilities here. If you don't pack it in your canoe you would have to paddle back to the lodge some 4 hours away. The water is drawn from the lake and boiled for several minutes before you can drink it. To say I was out of my comfort zone would be an understatement, but it was truly beautiful there.
