Week 3 One Daily Positive FMSPHOTOADAY SnapHappyBritMums Project365

This blog post only contains 6 photos for this week. I want to carry on with #MySundayPhoto as a separate blog post so I'll publish this on Saturday after I've taken my photo before linking up Sunday am. With #Project 365 I'm joining in with #FMSPHOTOADAY and #SnapHappyBritMums adding in my #OneDailyPositive, which is taking quite a bit of planning and I like #MySundayPhoto to be my favourite picture of the day, wherever I am and what ever it sums up for me.

Day 12

#onedailypositive #bright #FMSPHOTOADAY#go #snaphappybritmums #Project365 tough one today, it's been cloudy, windy and grey in Dubai today. I can't work miracles but I'm fairly nifty with a bottle of acid, although I had a major melt down trying to get my rubber gloves off.
One Bright clean bathroom, ready to Go when our visas materialise. Today's positive is taking things slowly is far more productive.

Day 13

#onedailypositive #luckynumber #FMSPHOTOADAY #landscape #snaphappybritmums#Project365 somewhere between Dubai and Oman in a visa flight this morning. We spent a total of 7 minutes in Oman having got off the plane on a bus walked through the terminal back on the bus and the same plane. On a positive note. Hubby has his work visa.

Day 14

#onedailypositive #new #FMSPHOTOADAY #out&about #snaphappybritmums #Project365 All in one new things for the house whilst out and about exploring

Day 15

#onedailypositive #old #FMSPHOTOADAY#walking #snaphappybritmums #Project365 old nail varnish, resting my feet after walking around Dubai Marina all morning. On a positive note I bought some lovely new shoes in the sales.

Day 16

#onedailypositive #nature #FMSPHOTOADAY #FamilyFun #snaphappybritmums #Project365 with my, not so little, boy (he's 20 next Friday) exploring the rock pools on the beach near our house in #Dubai. Quality time before he flies back to the UK on Thursday and joins the army

Day 17

#onedailypositive #Jump with #FMSPHOTOADAY #Hibernot with #SnapHappyBritmums #project365 #BurjKhalifa Hubby and middle son have gone to #AtTheTop this morning. I've already been up there and the views are breath taking. At £20 a go, I've opted to stay at the bottom. This photo is a quick snap with my iPhone, and I did have to jump off a wall after taking the snap when security pointed out the sign saying 'do not climb on the walls' but I'm now getting the chance to play with my new Nikon camera, without the 'experts' help.
#Hiberot is a difficult one for me to take part in, as are any themes related to seasons, as although I'm now in the Northern Hemisphere and it is winter, it's like a UK summer and we are making the most of being out and about before the weather gets too hot and we hibernate with the air conditioning on full blast.

  2. What a funny experience to get a visa sorted, it amazes me how differently things are done in different countries, I'd much rather hop on a plane than face the postal service here.
    Fabulous pictures

  12. Moving and visas are so complicated aren't they? We were in Oman airport at Christmas via Bangkok, it's such a teeny airport but I did get some nice duty free! Dubai is a place I've always wanted to visit! Popped over from Project 365!

    1. its funny how kids stop wanting to be with their mum in public, then reach a certain age where they then consider it cool to play in rock pools again
