We stayed in an apartment with sea views in Cowes, in the north which yes is twinned with the Isle of Wight, however other village names there were Ventnor which was on the west coast and Rhyll on the east coast.
Driving and walking around the villages/towns was easy and straight forward, however you do have to watch out under foot and wheel.
Cowes had a variety of shops to wander around and plenty of opportunities to stop for a coffee or eat out at night. It did amuse me to travel all this distance and find a souvenir from Tintern a few miles down the road from where I stay when I'm in the UK.
Oh my goodness, that koala sanctuary looks amazing! Thanks for sharing the photos. Your travels are always so interesting.
ReplyDeleteit was amazing and i could have easily just stayed there for the 3 weeks
DeleteHow peculiar to go all that way and find somewhere twinned with the Isle of Wight, though with that name, where else? Thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo
