Week 15 - One daily Positive and Project 366

Work went well this week, till Wednesday when I nearly killed myself making a Space Station and moon landing role play area. The #teen had his 17th birthday on Thursday, but as he had to have his stitches out after dental surgery, we decided to go out Wednesday evening to celebrate instead. He flew back Friday morning and as lovely as it was to have him home and be a family again, it's lovely to have the house back, free from drinks cans, sweet wrappers, take out boxes and clothes littering the corridor and bathroom floors.

On the blog this week.

#MySundayPhoto I am Hello Kitty

#POCOLO At what age does the tooth fairy stop coming? My son turned 17 this week and had a visit.

Sunday Day 101 #onedailypositive #project366 I went to work this morning with a suitcase, trolley
bag on wheels, 2 bags and a large box, full of work stuff. I came home with my lunch bag, wallet,
    car keys and a zip.

Monday Day 102 #project366 #onedailypositive my 3 favourite maxi dresses fulfill works dress code as long as I wear something to cover my arms to the wrist. As soon as I put a cardi or light weight jacket over the top, I look like a sack of spuds tied in the middle. But when it's 35c needs must and sack of spuds it is then.

Tuesday Day 103 #onedailypositive #project366 if I can grow these in the sand pit, I'm sure I can survive my 2nd summer in Dubai. Although I've booked my flights to the UK for July and August.

Wednesday Day 104 #onedailypositive #project366 no shortages of places to choose for dinner with such lovely views in Dubai. #teens 17th birthday meal #DubaiMarina

Thursday Day 105 #onedailypositive #project366 sadly I was in work all day for the #teens 17th birthday, came home, fell asleep, went out for dinner and then woke up at 2am fully clothed. The teen has to be at the airport in 2 hours time and I won't see him again until July. He spent the day with Peter, after a visit to the dentist to have his stitches removed they headed off to Dragon Mart to buy LED lights.

Friday Day 106 #onedailypositive #project366 the day started early with a trip to the airport as the #teen returned to school, we then went out to the desert with Bob and spent the rest of the morning cleaning the house. Late afternoon I lay down for 5 minutes and woke up 2 hours later.

Saturday Day 107 #onedailypositive #project366 enjoying the outdoors while we can, after lunch @labriocheuae #jumeriah, food shop (snacks) and now time for an afternoon kip. How's your weekend?

  1. Love the photo of the Dubai skyline. It must be weird saying goodbye to the teen, but it was nice that he could celebrate his birthday with you.
The tooth fairy came for my daughter the other day and she couldn't even be bothered to check whether she'd come until the following night!

  2. Those look like very fun dresses!
I have been falling asleep in the same way recently. Lay my head back for "just a minute" and wake hours later. Sometimes just need sleep :)

  3. maxi dresses must be so comfy in all that heat and i do like the patterns on the dresses. Such a shame that your son has gone home now - i bet that time goes by all too quickly. You must be feeling tired from all of that heat - i always feel sleepy when it is hot x

  4. Sounds like a busy week with birthdays, work and meals out. I love a maxi dress too, but what to wear with them can be hard. I'm not surprised you're ending up napping lots - I would with the warm weather.

  5. AAAAhhhh the drawback of teenagers - they make a mess - but have to say it is nice to have them round. Is nice that his birthday falls in the holidays.
Good idea to come back in the hottest part of the year over there, presume your schools are on holiday then.
