I started photographing the progress of the metro line in November 2018 when we moved to the area. It's unbelievable the speed at which they build over there. The construction of the station started in March 2018.

I do love these staged photos you take. It really shows how the buildings come together.
ReplyDeleteI started taking them when we moved here, sometimes it's difficult to get access to take the same shot again due to construction
DeleteYou really are building up an amazing record of what's happening in Dubai. I doubt many people have such a record. There's a book in this. Or who knows, maybe one day you'll open the Chicken Ruby Engineering Museum. But back to the photos....yes this is beign built at frightening speed. Just stunning. #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeletethere's a hundred books in the making i think
DeleteI'm always in awe of how fast building work progresses over there. It must be so interesting to watch all the different buildings taking shape.
ReplyDeleteit's fascinating, Peter is sending me weekly updates
DeleteIt's amazing how quickly they get things done. It looks like everything in Dubai...huge

DeleteHi Suzanne, that really is fast! It's the total opposite here, building work seems to go on forever. How the Greeks managed to build the Parthanon is a wonder sometimes. #mysundayphoto
